Our standards
All guides hold current Qatar Tourism licences and first-aid certification. Vehicles are serviced on a fixed schedule and carry water, shade, a first-aid kit and recovery equipment.
On remote routes we carry satellite communication because mobile coverage is unreliable.
Desert driving
Dune driving is inherently bumpy. It is not recommended if you are pregnant or have a back, neck or heart condition. Tell your guide at the start if you would like a gentler drive — they will adjust, and no one will think less of you for asking.
Seatbelts are worn at all times in the vehicle. Child seats are available on request.
Heat
From May to September the heat is a genuine hazard. We move departures earlier or later, shorten walking sections and carry extra water. Drink more than you think you need and tell your guide immediately if you feel unwell.
Water activities
Life jackets are carried for every passenger, including child sizes, on all boat activities. Swimming at the Inland Sea is unsupervised and at your own risk; your guide will tell you whether conditions are suitable on the day.
Tell us in advance
Medical conditions, medication you carry, allergies, mobility limits and accessibility needs all help us plan a safer day. There is a field for this at checkout and it reaches your guide.
