The classic Qatar desert day, done without the rush. We collect you from your hotel in the early afternoon and drive south past Mesaieed, where your guide drops the tyre pressure and the tarmac ends. From there it is dunes: a proper drive, paced to your group rather than to a stopwatch. We stop on a high ridge above Khor Al Adaid — the Inland Sea — for the light, then drop down to camp for tea, a swim if the tide is right, and whatever add-ons you have booked. You are usually back in Doha by mid-evening.

The vehicle is a standard 4x4 with a high step-in. The camp is on sand and is not wheelchair accessible. Tell us about mobility needs when you book and we will tell you honestly whether this tour will work for you.
All guides are licensed and first-aid trained. Vehicles are serviced on a fixed schedule and carry recovery gear, water and a first-aid kit. Dune driving is adjusted to the group — tell your guide if you want it gentler.
